About ScreenQue
ScreenQue is a premium, privacy-focused movie and TV show tracking app built natively for Apple's ecosystem — iOS, macOS, and tvOS. Developed as a solo indie project by Patrick Diezi / KREANIQS in Switzerland, ScreenQue combines local-first tracking via SwiftData with optional Trakt.tv synchronization for cross-platform history, and TMDB metadata enrichment for rich content display. The app positions itself as a "private entertainment journal" — an alternative to increasingly social-focused and data-monetizing competitors like Trakt, TV Time, and Letterboxd.
ScreenQue stands apart through its commitment to privacy (no account required, no ads, no data selling, EU-hosted analytics with full opt-out), Swiss engineering quality, and a native experience on every platform — including iOS with TabView navigation, macOS with NavigationSplitView sidebar, and tvOS with focus-engine optimized interfaces featuring scale and cyan glow effects. With support for 11 languages and runtime language switching (no restart required), ScreenQue serves a global audience.
The app follows a freemium model: core tracking, discovery, and organization features are free and unlimited, while premium features are available via a single ScreenQue Pro subscription tier at CHF 2.50/month (CHF 25/year, CHF 65 lifetime). Premium features include Trakt.tv bidirectional sync, personal lists, collection management, iCloud sync, advanced filtering and sorting, advanced notifications, and data import from 6 sources. Future releases add viewing statistics, Year in Review, watch diary, in-app calendar, tagging, and smart recommendations.
